Your position on the board is determined strictly by how much you've paid, nothing else. There is no algorithm, no editorial pick, no popularity vote. Higher bid, higher rank.
Anyone can join the board for as little as one dollar. There is no upper limit. Rank as high as you are willing to pay for.
To take someone's spot, you must bid at least $1 more than their current amount. Once your payment clears, you take the rank immediately.
Your position remains intact on the board until another contender outbids you by at least $1. There is no time-based or passive decay. You keep your rank for as long as your placement bid remains higher than competing exhibits.
Your rank is relative to others in your category as well as on the main gallery wall. A bid in Design and a bid in Web Development are tracked within their respective discipline salons.
Freelancers can mark themselves "Available now" or "Booked." Misrepresenting availability to attract bids in bad faith may result in removal (see moderation below).
All bids are non-refundable. Getting outbid does not return your money. Your listing simply shifts down to the rank your original bid supports, while the higher bidder claims the top spot.
You're paying for visibility on the exhibition wall, not a guarantee of clients, contracts, or employment outcomes. Outfolio does not vet skill or endorse any listing beyond verifying payment.
Duplicate listings to occupy multiple ranks under different names are not allowed and will be merged or removed.
Listings with broken links, adult content, illegal services, or clearly fraudulent claims will be removed without refund. Outfolio reserves the right to remove any listing that damages trust in the board.
Outfolio is a visibility mechanism, not a hiring platform, staffing agency, or guarantee of employment.
