Why Outfolio exists
Outfolio is a fun project and an alternative take inspired by concepts like outbid.lol. However, unlike traditional bidding boards, Outfolio is built specifically for freelancers, creative portfolios, and X accounts who want genuine visibility.
It is not based on subjective skill metrics, but on placement bids. Every traditional freelance platform claims to rank the “best” talent, but behind that claim is always an opaque algorithm, engagement farming, or arbitrary review systems. You climb by guessing what the platform wants, not by putting your work directly in front of people.
Outfolio strips away the pretense. If you are willing to back your profile and bid for the spot, you get the spot. Just transparent numbers, instant placement, and an honest visibility market.

The Rules of the Salon
1. Rank is Bid (From $1.00)Anyone can join the exhibition wall starting at $1.00. The higher your bid, the higher your frame and ranking across the gallery wall.
2. The +$1 Outbid RuleTo outbid any existing exhibit, you only need to exceed their bid by $1.00. Once your checkout clears, you take their spot on the board immediately.
3. Live Database Rank PlacementOur placement engine checks the database in real-time as you enter your bid, calculating your projected rank on the global board and discipline category.
4. No Auto Decay: Rank Holds Until OutbidYour rank does not decay over time. You hold your position on the exhibition board for as long as your bid remains higher than other contenders.
